This piece was a modern dance piece with 3 movements using the of music of Duke Ellington. The first movement evoked a smoky nightclub with shafts of neon light playing on the striped costumes. The second movement represented an upscale ballroom, highlighting the long flowing skirts with silhouettes against the cyc. The final movement was set within the big city, using window like gobos, warm tones to mimic headlights, and bold colors to reflect the frenetic energy.
