Shakesfeare is an interactive walk through haunted attraction on the grounds of Ewing Manor in Normal, Illinois. A spine tingling, yet family friendly event, it was a fundraiser for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. I worked the event for three years as first the master electrician, then as a lighting designer as well as supervising load in and strike each evening. It's truly a challenge to work in an outdoor setting with primarily environmental or architectural elements and limited resources, but that's half the fun! Below is a collage of pictures from all three years. Click to expand!
